Prayers for the week of April 3rd

With confidence and trust let us pray to the Lord, saying, Lord, have mercy.

For the one holy catholic and apostolic Church throughout the world, For Justin the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Province of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan with Justin their Primate, Linda our Primate, Chris our Indigenous Archbishop elect, Leopold, bishop of the Windward Islands, their Diocesan Officers: Stanley, Grenville, Idris, Clifton, and Dionne; the parishes ofthe parishes of; Cathedral Church of St. George with Transfiguration, The Ascension and Holy Redeemer and Samuel their priest; and for all deacons, priests, and bishops, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For the mission of the Church, For Greg our Archbishop, the Refugee Committee, the parish of St. George, Calgary with Chris, Joan, Derek, Simba, and Thomas their priests; that in faithful witness we may preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For Norbert our priest, Bernard and Rob our Wardens, John our Treasurer and Arlene, Gina, Jennifer, Lorianne, and Lorrainne who serve on Parish Council; For those preparing for baptism and for their teachers and sponsors, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For Margaret & Susan whose birthdays we celebrate today; and all people in their daily life and work, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For this community of Okotoks, Tanya our mayor and Town Council; our province, Danielle our Premier and the Legistative Assembly; our country; Justin our Prime Minister and the Parliament: For peace in the world, that a spirit of respect and reconciliation may grow among nations and peoples, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For those who are sick, particularily remembering Bud, Marion, and Maureen; that they may find healing and comfort, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For the people of the Ukraine and other war torn countries, and all who are in danger; that peace and reconciliation become a living reality, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For the poor, the persecuted, the sick, and all who suffer; for refugees, prisoners, and all in danger; that they may be relieved and protected, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For all whom we have injured or offended, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

For grace to amend our lives and to further the reign of God, we pray to you, Lord.

Lord, have mercy.
