    Prayer for Pentecost

Let us pray to God the Holy Spirit, saying, “Come, Holy Spirit, come.”

Come Holy Spirit, fill us with the joy of your healing and life-giving breathe.

    Come, Holy Spirit, come.

Come Holy Spirit, that the scattered, virtual, isolated, and persecuted church may find fresh strength in coming of your Spirit.

    Come, Holy Spirit, come.

Prayer Sheet for July 5, 2020

Almighty God, your Son Jesus Christ has taught us that what we do for the least of your children we do also for him. Give us the will to serve others as he was the servant of all, who gave up his life and died for us, but lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Let us pray for the peace of the world: particularly remembering Justin, Archbishop of Canterbury; The united Church of Pakistan and Humphrey their moderator and bishop of Peshawar; Linda, our Primate; and Mark, our National Indigenous Archbishop, that they may remain faithful to their calling and rightly proclaim the word of truth.

Prayer Sheet For June 28, 2020

Almighty God, you have taught us through your Son that love fulfils the law. May we love you with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength, and may we love our neighbour as ourselves; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN.

Almighty God, whose wisdom and whose love are over all, accept the prayers we offer for our nation. Give integrity to its citizens and wisdom to those in authority, that harmony and justice may be secured in obedience to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. AMEN.

In peace let us pray to the Lord.

Holy Creator, in whom all things in heaven and earth have their being,

Have mercy on us.

Risen Christ, through whom the whole creation is reconciled to God,

Have mercy on us.

Life-giving Spirit, whose love and truth fills the world and searches the depths of our lives,

Have mercy on us.

Blessed Trinity, source of both unity and diversity,

Have mercy on us.
