Prayer for the Week of June 27, 2021

In peace let us pray to the Lord, saying, “Lord, have mercy.”
Almighty God, you have taught us through your Son that love fulfils the law. May we love you with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength, and may we love our neighbour as ourselves.
Lord, have mercy.
For peace from on high and for our salvation, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the peace of the whole world, for the welfare of the holy Church of God, Remembering Justin, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the people of the church of Pakistan and Himphrey their moderator; Linda our primate, and Mark our national indigenous archbishop and and all bishops.
Lord, have mercy.
For the people of our companion diocese of the Windward Islands, Leopold their bishop, the people of St. George with St. Vincent, St. Peter, St. Luke and St. Alban on Grenada with Michael their archdeacon; the people of St. Patrick with St. Mary and St. Francis on Grenada; and, for the unity of all, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For Greg our archbishop, the people of St. Luke, Red Deer and Noel their priest and the archdeacon of Rocky Mountain and for those preparing for ordination, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the people of our parsih, with Norbert and Haydn our Priests, Bernard, Dave, Sean and Wayne our Wardens and Our Parish Council, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.

We give thanks to you for _Thomas M. and Gracie L_whose birthday we celebrate today. May they/he/she ever grow in your faith, hope, and love, let us pray to the Lord.

Lord, have mercy.

Let us remember with thanksgiving the vows of love and commitment _Neil and Susan_made to you and to each other in marriage. We pray for your continued blessing on them. May we learn from their joys and sorrows, and discover new riches in our life together in you, let us pray to the Lord. Lord, have mercy.
For Elizabeth our Queen, for the leaders of the nations, and for all in authority, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For towns of Okotoks and High River, the City of Calgary, and for every city and community, and for those who live in them in faith, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For good weather, and for abundant harvests for all to share, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For those who travel by land, water, or air, for the sick and the suffering (especially . . . ), for prisoners and captives, and for their safety, health, and salvation, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For our deliverance from all affliction, strife, and need, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
For the absolution and remission of our sins and offences, let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
Remembering ( . . . and) all the saints, we commit ourselves, one another, and our whole life to Christ our God.
To you, O Lord.
Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications to you, and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together you will hear their requests. Fulfil now our desires and petitions, as may be best for us, granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come eternal life; for you, Father, are good and loving, and we glorify you through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, in the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
